My parents built Marina Cove in 1961 and it has been a family home ever since. It started as a basic ranch at first and in 1995 we added the master suite and "Lagoon Room" and opened up the living space so you can see the lagoon when you first enter the house.
Come here to relax, unwind and enjoy the great local restaurants on this end of the island.
(Black-eyed Susan's in Harvery Cedars, Kubel's and Daymark in Barnegat Light, Yellowfin, Wally's and Surf City Hotel in Surf City just to name a few) Don't want to cook? Off The Hook in Barnegat Light offers wonderful takeout seafood. And of course you must take a drive to the south end of the island for a "different beach feel". You can also take the shuttle bus for a nominal fee.
The beaches are within walking distance. You may also drive and use the public parking lots.
Fishing charters or night cruises are available in Barnegat Light or enjoy the shopping that Viking Village has to offer.
The Foundation of the Arts and Sciences in Loveladies offers pottery classes, events and more!
Our pristine lagoon water is checked weekly and is safe and fun for swimming! Kayak up and down the lagoons and waterways in the bay and photograph all the local water fowl. Enjoy crabbing off our lagoon or rent a boat at Van's in Barnegat Light.
Take a bike ride, stroll or drive to Barnegat Light and walk around the Lighthouses, tour the gardens at the museum and then enjoy some ice cream at Poppy's! So much to do and enjoy!
Or do nothing and enjoy that too!
