Harvey Cedars, NJ

A quaint town with stunning sunsets and spectacular views.

Everyone can go paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing while in Harvey Cedars by simply renting their gear from Harvey Cedars Marina.  People always find that the water is inviting, the sun is shining, and the fun is guaranteed when they are using a board, kayak, or boat from the marina!

Sunset Park may be busy during the summer months, but there is always room for one more for some fun at the playground, ballfield, tennis courts, and basketball court. The picnic tables provide hours of enjoyment as people devour food while talking and laughing and many of them can be seen walking off some calories on the walkway over the bay.

Sunset Park is the best place in town to be as the sun is setting and while people can be seen there throughout the week, they arrive in droves when the weekly concerts are held.

The Barnegat Light Yacht Club, which ironically enough is located in Harvey Cedars, offers sailings and regattas throughout the summer as well as youth sailing and youth teams.  You may even want to volunteer to become a member of this prestigious club and assist with the numerous social and sailing events.

There aren’t too many restaurants within Harvey Cedars, but they do have a couple that are amazing.  Black Eyed Susans and Oasis Grill are the two that always seem to get rave reviews from everyone who walks out the doors!

Ice cream is a must when on vacation and no one serves better ice cream than Harvey Cedars Ice Cream Parlour.  They have what seems like a million choices and everyone has a difficult time choosing a flavor!

Harvey Cedars is known for its events and festivals, especially the ever-popular Craft Day by the Bay, the Annual Art Festival, and the Blue Claw Craft Festival.  People line the streets to view the art, make purchases, and visit with friends during these extraordinary events.
