DESCRIPTION:
Beat the traffic in this little bit of heaven on Long Beach Island, that rents Friday to Friday. This comfortable & cozy, fully updated bay-side cape is beautifully decorated and has plenty of room for the whole family.
Amenities galore in this home, including a BRAND NEW well-appointed kitchen completed for 2021 with everything you will need for you and your guests to enjoy family meals, happy hour, and BBQs, in the large, fully fenced back yard offering a large hot tub and dining area with comfortable lounge seating and Firepit. There is also a portacrib. This house has everything else! Just bring your trunks, bikinis, and beach towels.
THE PROPERTY:
On the first level Bedroom 1: King Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed. Top floor Bedroom 3: Three twin beds and 2 Trundle bed | Bedroom 4: Queen and a Full Size sofa bed.
Convenient location in Ship Bottom just two blocks from the causeway means your vacation starts as soon as you hit the island. One block to the bay and boat launch with childrens park; take your pick from the guarded bay beach/playground (super for little ones) and guarded ocean beaches, both only 2.5 blocks away. We supply 10 beach tags.
Flat-screen televisions in the living room and most bedrooms. The finished garage has additional dining space for 8â??12 people; Roku TV; internet connection for accessing Netflix, Pandora, Youtube, etc. The garage is climate-controlled with a window A/C unit.
For outdoor enjoyment, the large fenced-in yard includes a conversation area; over-sized picnic table under a retractable awning; outdoor shower; 8-person hot tub; plenty of seating and a gas grill for alfresco dining and a fire pit.
Ductless central air keeps the kitchen/living room area comfortable, and all bedrooms now have their own units too!
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
LINENS provided free of charge with in season reservations. Include all bed sheets and a full supply of bath, hand, and wash towels. Guests please bring your own beach towels. Toilet paper and paper towels starters also provided.
The property also has Beach chairs, Umbrellas, Buckets, shovels, toys and even a wagon to carry them all on your short walk to the beach. Walk to shopping, groceries, pharmacies, bakery/garden shop, and restaurants. There is also a Portacrib for your use. This home is sure to please everyone!

Seashell cottage was perfect for our family of six adults and two toddlers. There was plenty of room. The house was clean and well appointed. The backyard is wonderful and love how they converted the garage to more dining space. The location was great too. We were in walking distance to so many places and both the bay and ocean beach. It was wonderful!!

We loved the house. It had a beautiful new updated kitchen with plenty of space for our stuff. The house has a separate dining space with lots of room for a big family. It was a great use of space. The backyard is amazing, the huge table was great. The bedrooms are very well done and beautifully decorated. Close to the beach. Had enough beach badges for everyone in our family.
The owners thought of everything to make their home a great vacation rental.

The house was great, as described. The two negatives were that the beach cart is not great in the sand and was a struggle to get from the beach entrance to the shoreline, and the checkout procedures were atypically demanding which takes away from the vacation and restricts you on your last day. However, neither of these two negatives would stop me from booking again the future - we had a great time!

Second summer rented. Loved the jacuzzi, large fenced back yard back but missed the cornhole game. Rooms nice and cool, and large kitchen with second frig which came in handy. Had a wonderful time.

Seashell Cottage - Impressive accommodations!

Our family stayed at Seashell Cottage mid June and we had a fantastic time kicking off summer at this home. We are pleased with our stay and the cottage has all the amenities to make a beach vacation truly memorable and enjoyable.
We enjoyed the newly appointed kitchen, with all the dinnerware and kitchenware well supplied (service for 12+). The bedrooms were comfortable. Even the a/c units were modern, with remote control panels for each bedroom. We ordered linen service and even that was superb). We enjoyed the garage/dining/hang-out area. Well thought of! And the backyard is spacious, with a gas grill, hot tub, gas firepit, and multiple seating areas. Thereâ??s also an outdoor shower.
Overall, the house is great and guest amenities were well thought of.
Distance to the beach is a short walk away, another short walk to the bay for sunsets. We would love to come back and stay at this cottage in the future.

Had a wonderful time. House was lovely , clean and just the right space. Fenced yard was large with plenty of space for our fur babies and yard games for our family. Also enjoyed the hot tub and sitting under the umbrella to relax and enjoy a good book. Second frig was a big plus for our cold drinks. The Friday to Friday was new to us but encountered less traffic with arriving and leaving. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home.

Seashell cottage is a beautiful home with every amenity you could ask for in a rental home; short walk to beach, immaculately kept house & backyard with hot tub, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers all made available...you literally just have to bring your bathing suit & sun block & you're set to vacation the minute you arrive. House it pet friendly & if my puppies could write I'm sure they would say they loved this property as well

This is our 3rd time renting on LBI and this is our favorite house yet. The backyard is large and fenced in with plenty of seating, a firepit, Weber grill, hot tub, and fully stocked shed with beach chairs, wagon, bucket, etc. The house itself has a great layout with 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. This was the perfect set up for our kids! The downstairs has two bedrooms and a full bath as well. The newly updated kitchen is very nice and opens into the living room. We absolutely loved the converted garage space with the large table and extra fridge. It was a great place for our beach bags and shoes so that we kept those items from tracking sand into the rest of the place. There were plenty of beach badges and the kitchen was fully stocked. Most importantly, the house was CLEAN and the air condition was great! My only suggestion would be to have some instructions for the hot tub. We had a great week and hopefully we will be back!

We had a great time at this property in Ship Bottom. Our only complaints were that upon arrival there were 2 full cans of recycling which should have been addressed by the turnover agent before our arrival and the overhead light in the kitchen didn't function so it was somewhat dark. Also the Wii system didn't work but it wasn't a big deal since we really wanted to spend as much time as possible outside during a beautiful weather week. The house itself was perfect for our needs with more than ample space and great space outside to hang out and relax. The beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon were perfect. The house location was good (~3 blocks from the beach) and since we had bikes it made for a quick commute to the ocean! All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect in Every Way!

My college roommates and I rented the property for a long weekend with our husbands and kids (ranging 10 months - 3 years in age). We also had our family dog down with us because she LOVES the beach / bay. The property was the perfect size with all the necessary amenities for our group. We were walking distance to both the ocean and the bay, which was perfect for the kids. In addition, there were plenty of food options close by (Wawa, bagels, donuts, ice cream, pizza, etc.). The owner was very accommodating with allowing us to stay for a long weekend vs. the full week. The house was in excellent condition when we arrived, and check-in was seamless. We LOVED the backyard. It was perfect for the kids, the dog, for outdoor meals (which was every meal for us, ha!), hanging stuff out to dry in between beach / bay trips, etc. In addition, the hot tub and fire pit were a nice bonus for adult hang outs after the kids went to bed. Lastly, the availability of a wagon and toys was a bonus!

We could not have been happier with our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, it was extremely well stocked. We had a dog and baby with us, so it was a huge plus that everything was so easy. We forgot the baby toys but there were plenty for him to play with! We loved that someone came to clean and check the hot tub. We look forward to coming back here, and for a longer stay!

We only stayed for Memorial Day weekend but wish we had more time! The house had everything we needed. It almost felt like we checked into a hotel-clean linens where cutely placed on the bed, the house was immaculate and there was even cute buckets and sand toys placed out for the kids. We had 5 kids so the large fenced in backyard was perfect for them to run around. We didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. We had a rainy day and they kids were introduced to Mario Kart on the Wii (made the day SO much easier). We would definitely recommend this family friendly house to anyone!
